J&K Government Transfers Five IAS Officers; Nitish Rajora Appointed Director of Information

Srinagar, Jan 30 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of five senior IAS officers to enhance administrative efficiency.

According to an official order obtained by Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Jatin Kishore (IAS, AGMUT:2020), serving as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat and holding additional charge as Director, Information J&K, has been reassigned as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal.

Shishir Gupta (IAS, AGMUT:2020), previously Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian. His predecessor, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar (JKAS), will now report to the General Administration Department for further assignment.

Nitish Rajora (IAS, AGMUT:2021), formerly Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jammu (North), has been named the new Director of Information, J&K.

Rakesh Kumar (IAS, AGMUT:2021), earlier serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hiranagar, has been transferred to the position of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.

Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak (IAS, AGMUT:2022), who was the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Akhnoor, Jammu, has now been posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Uri, Baramulla. He replaces Javid Ahmad Rather (JKAS), who will report to the General Administration Department for a new posting.

These administrative reshuffles aim to optimize governance in the region.—(KNO)
