Subject to fair weather and better road conditions LMVs, passenger/private cars, and HMVs shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), viz. from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban for road conditions. Commuters are requested to check Jammu Srinagar (NH-44) status at the J&K Traffic Police Twitter handle and Facebook page.

SSG ROAD:
Tomorrow traffic will remain suspended on SSG road from Srinagar towards Kargil and vice versa in view of inclement weather whereby maintenance work on the Kargil-Srinagar NH (Zojila Pass) shall be carried out by the concerned road maintenance agencies. Commuters are advised to avoid journeys on the Srinagar-Kargil (SSG) road till the weather improves and maintenance work is completed.
